With just a few weeks left until the big BlackBerry 10 announcement, Research In Motion’s (RIM) servers are experiencing issues once again.

For the time being, it appears that the problem only affects Vodafone customers in the UK, but if you live in another country and experience BlackBerry services issues drop us a line in the comments section and state your location.

Vodafone UK users report that BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) is down along with email, but Internet browsing seems to be working fine for now.

The carrier has already acknowledged the problem and issued the following statement: “We are aware that some BlackBerry customers are experiencing issues. Vodafone is working closely with Research in Motion (RIM) to restore full service as soon as possible. As soon as we have further information we will provide further updates.”

Stay tuned for more updates on this one and make sure you leave a comment stating your location in case your BlackBerry device is affected by this outage as well.

UPDATE: It looks like the outage affects BlackBerry users in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Vodafone has just issued a new statement, check it out below:

"Vodafone can confirm that some BlackBerry customers experienced issues with their data services this morning in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The issue was caused by a router error.

Services are in the process of being restored and we continue to monitor the situation closely. We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused and we will provide updates as necessary."

UPDATE 1: According to Vodafone UK, the problems have been fixed and all BlackBerry services restored:

"We've now received confirmation that this service is back and functioning normally."
