It looks like Research In Motion is focusing on delivering the latest software updates to all its devices. Shortly after deploying BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 upgrade, the company plans to roll out a BlackBerry OS 7.1 update for BlackBerry Curve 9360.

The guys over at MobileSyrup got their hands on an internal document which confirms that Canadian carrier Virgin Mobile would put the update up for download starting February 23.

According to this document, only Members who have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be able to upgrade to BlackBerry OS 7.1. Rumor has it that Bell Canada will make this update available for download as well.

The new BlackBerry OS 7.1 will enable Curve 9360 users to take advantage of the Wi-Fi hotspot capability, NFC (Near Field Communications), as well as FM Radio, among others.
