If you are one of those people who like the thrill of installing leaked copies of upcoming, unofficial versions of operating systems, we have the perfect post-Christmas gift for you.

If you own a recent BlackBerry device, that is. The folks at CrackBerry have noticed that the new OS 10.3.1.1949 version has popped up on their forums.

Before you get super excited and jump for joy, bear in mind that the new build is only compatible with select devices. So only users of the Z30, Z10STL234, Z3 and Q10/5 will be allowed to install the new build on their device.

But not to worry, autoloaders for another bunch of BlackBerry devices are already in progress. However users of the Passport might be left out in the cold, when this particular leaked OS version is concerned.

While the prospects of having a yet-unreleased build on your machine might sound uber exciting, take into consideration the fact that if you choose to install this version, you will do so at your own risk.

If you choose to go ahead with it, you better make sure to make a backup of all your data beforehand, so your information stays safes.

Related to what’s new with the build, we’ll have to hear from people who went ahead and installed the new OS on their device. You can go ahead and download the leaked OS 10.3.1.1949 by following this link.
