We reported earlier this month on the release of BlackBerry Navigator application in Beta Zone. Powered by TomTom, the Sat Nav application offers real-time turn-by-turn spoken directions to destination, trip summary, overview map and more.

However, the application was only compatible with a handful of BlackBerry 7 devices and only in the UK. The good news is Research In Motion (RIM) found a way to bring the application to more regions.

According to CrackBerry, the application now supports more BlackBerry 7 devices, which were not among the first wave of supported smartphones.

So, the latest version of BlackBerry Navigator is now available for users who own one of the following smartphones: BlackBerry Curve 9350/9370, BlackBerry Bold 9930, BlackBerry Torch 9850 and Blackberry Porsche Design P'9981.

Keep in mind that the application is still available for download via BlackBerry Beta Zone, so make sure you have a valid Beta Zone account before attempting to install it.
