A new flavor of BlackBerry Link is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry devices out there, namely 1.2.

The application release hasn’t been officially announced as of now, but it has already leaked online, and those interested in taking it for a spin can do so now. However, they should keep in mind that this is not a formal release, and that it might not be stable.

The new BlackBerry Link 1.2 app version can be installed on Windows-based PCs and enables users to connect their BlackBerry smartphones to the computer.

According to CrackBerry, the new release comes with various visual changes, as well as with performance improvements, with faster and more reliable backups.

Furthermore, it is said to bring more options when it comes to restoring a device, as well as fixes for remote access and logging in with a BlackBerry ID.
