The BlackBerry Gemini has been spotted in the wild a while ago, but the information that came along with a leaked photo of the device has been somehow misleading. The handset is now wandering freely around the Web once again, though in a low-quality picture this time, yet some of the details on the phone have been updated and it seems that we are now able to see the actual Gemini on display.

The BlackBerry Gemini was reported the first time to come with the 9300 tag and be the successor of Curve 8900, yet it seems that it will actually be dubbed Gemini 8325 and is supposed to be the successor of Curve 8300, though it might also borrow something from 8900.

The device should come with a QVGA display, able to provide users with a 320×240 resolution, while also including a QWERTY keyboard. There will also be a 2.0-megapixel photo snapper included with the handset, which is expected to run under the OS 5.0 platform from Research in Motion.

Among the other capabilities of the BlackBerry Gemini 8325 we should be able to see Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, although the n part is not too certain at the moment. The mobile phone should also come with EDGE data capabilities. All in all, it might be added to the company's lower-end series of devices, and not go a little higher in the top.

For the time being there are no specific details on the availability of the handset, and, as you can also see, there are only a few pieces of information on the specification list that Gemini will come along with. Hopefully, as the launch date of the device nears, we'll also be able to learn some more about it, so stay tuned to get the details as soon as they are available.
