After launching the new Bold 9900, T-Mobile USA is expected to add a new BlackBerry smartphone to its offering in mid-September, namely the BlackBerry Curve 9360, a series of recently leaked documents have unveiled.

Rumor has it that the new smartphone from Research In Motion would be slated for a September 14th release at the US wireless services provider.

Apparently, the wireless carrier would be getting the new device a little later than other operators on the North American continent, but will still have it available in less than one month from now.

Canadian phone users should be able to enjoy the capabilities of this device in their local market as soon as August 29th.

Leaked info shows not only that the new Curve 9360 will hit shelves before the end of August, but also the fact that it will be released in the country via Bell Mobility.

For the time being, mum's the word from RIM on this mobile phone, though, provided that the rumors will pan out, it should not be too long before the company makes official announcements on the matter.

The Curve series of handsets was one of the most popular family of devices from the Canadian vendor, and the new smartphone promises a great deal of appealing capabilities as well.

“Everyone’s favourite BlackBerry Curve just got even better. The sleek and stylish new BlackBerry Curve 9360 is ‘just right’ in so many ways – it comes complete with enhanced specifications,” one of the lead docs from reads.

When released, the new device is expected to sport a low price tag, the same as the previous Curve smartphones did, but no specific info on the matter surfaced until now.

The specs list of this phone would include an 800Mhz application processor, along with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a 2.44-inch screen (480 x 360 pixel), and WiFi connectivity. The smartphone runs under the new BlackBerry 7 OS, it seems.
