Bell Mobility is another mobile phone carrier in Canada which has made available for purchase on its airwaves the new BlackBerry Curve 9360 smartphone from Research In Motion.

Announced at the beginning of this week, the mobile phone was said to be on its way to various wireless carriers in Canada before the end of August, and it has already become available for purchase via some of them.

Bell is one of the carriers that launched the Curve 9360, making it available for purchase with a price tag of $49.95 attached to it with the signing of a three-year contract agreement.

The price is available “on a 3-year term when activating a minimum voice and data plan combination or combo plan of $50 per month or greater, or on a $40 Smartphone BlackBerry Social Plan, or on a $40 Smartphone BlackBerry Email plan,” Bell explains.

The wireless carrier has the BlackBerry Curve 9360 for sale at other price points too, depending on the contract term users would like to commit to.

Those who would commit to a two-year term will be able to purchase the new device for $299.95, while those who would rather choose a one-year term will have to pay $324.95 for the smartphone. Contract free, the mobile phone would cost $349.95.

The new member of the Curve family sports a 2.44-inch HVGA screen and a QWERTY keyboard on the front, along with slightly upgraded hardware specifications when compared to the previous handsets in the series.

“The BlackBerry Curve 9360 features an 800 MHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera and all the features you would expect from a BlackBerry - all packed into an ultra-thin design,” the wireless carrier explains.

Other specifications of the new device will include 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.
