A series of new BlackBerry devices are set to arrive on shelves at SaskTel as soon as next week, and the BlackBerry Curve 9360, now listed on the wireless carrier's website with a coming soon tag on it, should be among them.

The new BlackBerry Curve 9360 was unveiled to the world earlier this week with the latest mobile platform flavor from Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion, namely the BlackBerry 7 OS.

The new BlackBerry Curve 9360 is the latest addition to RIM's family of affordable devices, yet it does come with a series of features that enable it rise above its predecessors.

Moreover, the mobile phone maker touts the new Curve smartphone as a slim device, while also noting that it does come with an upgraded processor and other enhanced specs to make it more appealing than before.

The handset should arrive at SaskTel with a price tag of $49.99 attached to it with the signing of a three-year contract agreement, but other purchase options are also available for those interested in it.

Users who would like to purchase the new device with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier will have to pay $299.99 for it, while those who would go for a one-year term will pay $339.99. On monthly contracts, the phone costs $349.99.

“The slim and stylish BlackBerry Curve 9360 smartphone fits perfectly in your palm and pocket,” the wireless carrier notes.

“This social minded smartphone features the newest BBM, social apps, email, IM and will ensure that you are conveniently connected to your friends and family at all times.”

The handset features a 2.8-inch screen that can deliver a 480 x 360 pixel resolution, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, as well as a Lithium-Ion battery that can offer up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 12 days of standby time.
