Mobile phone carrier Vodafone UK has just added a new handset to its offering, namely the new BlackBerry Curve 9300, and made it available for purchase for free upon the signing of a contract agreement on a monthly plan starting at £25.

The new device, also referred to as the BlackBerry Curve 3G, was launched in a wider range of markets lately, including Malaysia and Australia.

According to Vodafone, some of the main features the Curve 9300 comes to the market with include:

- Simple to stay in touch - the big keyboard and GPS make it easy to type messages and find your way - Faster connections - 3G makes web browsing and emailing as quick as on your PC - Designed with you in mind - find your music and websites fast with the media keys and new trackpad

However, a wide range of other functionalities are also there, meant to offer users an enhanced experience on their devices.

Among these features, we can count a full QWERTY keyboard, support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS navigation capabilities, and more.

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 comes with a photo snapper on the back, and with 256MB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

With a battery that can offer up to 270 minutes of talk time or up to 450 hours of standby time, the new device measures 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm and weighs in at 104 grams.

On the features side, the mobile phone comes with all that users need for work, as well as with a nice range of multimedia capabilities.

“With the BlackBerry Curve 9300 in your hand, you can work efficiently even when you're away from your office. It integrates your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes - and synchronises with your PC, so you can stay fully up-to-date when you're out and about,” the wireless carrier notes.
