BlackBerry Curve 8530 is one of the latest handsets from the Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion to have made an appearance on Bell's offering. The new device, which has just entered the wireless carrier's CDMA lineup, is set to replace the Curve 8330, and in two color options, black and exclusive royal purple.

The mobile phone carrier was expected already to release the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 on its airwaves, and now Canadian users can purchase the device from it and enjoy its capabilities. The RIM smartphone is available for only $49.95 upon the signing of a three-year contract agreement with the carrier, but it can also be purchased free of contract, case in which one would have to pay $399.95 for it.

At the same time, 2-year and one-year contract options are also available, with the BlackBerry Curve 8530 priced at $249.95 and $349.95, respectively. All in all, the handset seems to be a nice choice for those who want to stay connected at all times with their friends and family, while also offering them appealing multimedia features and access to a wide range of applications.

The specifications list of the device, in case there are some of you who are not accustomed with it, includes a full QWERTY keyboard with optical trackpad navigation, a 2-megapixel photo snapper with video recording capabilities, BlackBerry Handheld software 5.0 on board, BlackBerry Messenger, Internet browsing features, and support for Email and text, picture and video messaging.

At the same time, the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 also comes to the market with Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth v2.1 capabilities, Speakerphone, GPS receiver, 256 MB of internal memory space, microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, viewing and editing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents capabilities, and a battery that can deliver up to 4.5 hours of talk time or up to 10.5 days on standby.
