Wireless mobile phone maker T-Mobile officially announced plans to launch the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on its airwaves as soon as August 5, which is only two days from now, yet it seems that the handset has already been listed on its website. Enthusiasts will certainly have a reason to rejoice upon hearing this, and the same will happen when they will learn that Walmart already sold the device to some early customers.

Or at least to one early customer, who rushed to post an unboxing video with the device, BGR reports. What can be seen inside the box is something that most of us were already expecting, namely the BlackBerry Curve 8520, microUSB cable, travel charger, stereo headset, installation CD and manuals. Considering the $48.88 price tag the handset features at Walmart, it’s quite all right, one might say.

As for T-Mobile's website, it shows the BlackBerry Curve 8520 under the “coming soon” tag, though no other pieces of information are available there. For example, while the Walmart price for the mobile phone is already known, and it has been set under the $50 tag indeed, it seems that the price it should become available at directly from the wireless carrier is still unknown for sure. Previously, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 was rumored to cost no less than $130 on T-Mobile, and we might say that the price difference is rather big.

One way or the other, the price of the phone, at least the one at Walmart, will certainly attract a lot of people on its side. According to T-Mobile, the handset will be shipped along with the battery, charger, stereo hands-free headset, USB cable, BlackBerry Desktop Software and 1GB SD card, about the same as the below-seen box. As the launch date is that near, stay tuned to find out the pricing the handset will have directly from the carrier.
