On a variety of tariffs

Virgin Media announced recently the launch of a brand new mobile phone for its users, namely the BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone. The new handset has been included in the company's pay-monthly devices offering, and comes as the first BlackBerry phone to be included in Virgin Media's offering for its UK customers.

What the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 is capable of delivering to Virgin Customers includes fast access to email, popular social networking websites like Facebook and MySpace, as well as great messaging features, including Instant Messaging, SMS and MMS. At the same time, the company's users will also be able to enjoy a wide range of great multimedia features with the new device, including fast access to music, games and other mobile apps that can keep people entertained while they are on the go.

The device also includes Wi-Fi connectivity options, as well as a 2-megapixel camera, full-QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive trackpad. “More and more cell phone users are choosing to upgrade to a smartphone and the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 will undoubtedly convince many more people in the UK to make the switch. It is very easy to use and it delivers all the great messaging, social networking and multimedia features that customers have come to love about BlackBerry smartphones,” said Carlo Chiarello, vice president, product management, Research In Motion.

The company also announced that the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 was available for its users on a wide range of monthly tariffs. Moreover, the plans include unlimited mobile Internet with access to social networking sites, as well as unlimited email access to a number of ten email accounts, including Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail and Virgin Media. Additionally, Virgin Media further reveals that its 10 million Virgin Media customers who benefited at the moment from 50Mb broadband and TV will also enjoy unlimited calls to other Virgin Media mobile phones upon the purchase of the new handset.
