The 4.0 version is available for download

RIM and Motorola have recently announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect 4.0 for all the Asutralian users who own a Moto Q 9h Windows Mobile smartphone. BlackBerry Connect is a software that provides access to the useful and well-known BlackBerry services, offering support for push-email and attachment viewing via BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Moreover, BlackBerry Connect brings support for BlackBerry Mobile Data System, two-way wireless syncronization as well as integration with Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino, and Novell GroupWise.

"Corporate and retail customers are looking for a solution that can bring mobility advantages intimately and efficiently. BlackBerry Connect software addresses many of our customers' needs and will add tremendous value to the existing MOTO Q offering," declared Andrew Volard, Managing Director, Motorola South Pacific.

In Australia, Moto Q 9h is currently offered only via Optus and Vodafone, the second and the third largest mobile operators in the country. Measuring 118 x 67 x 11.8 millimeters, the smartphone is one of the slimmest business-oriented handsets on the market. Its features include 3G connectivity for high data transfer speeds (up to 3.6 Mbps), a full QWERTY keyboard for easy and fast text input, a 2.4 inch TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels, Music and Video players, Bluetooth 2.0, Opera browser, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, voice dialing, USB, expandable memory (up to 8GB) and so on.
