14 DAY TRIAL // An updated flavor of the BlackBerry Bridge application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry smartphones, namely version 3.3.0.25.
The updated app comes with fixes for two known issues, one of them affecting the BlackBerry PlayBook devices, preventing them from sending or receiving BBM messages after updating BBM.
At the same time, BlackBerry Bridge 3.3.0.25 resolves a problem with the Media Card not appearing in BlackBerry PlayBook File Manager.
For those out of the loop, we should note that the BlackBerry Bridge app was designed to provide users with the possibility to pair their BlackBerry smartphones with a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
It also enabled them to remotely control the slate, browse the web on the tablet from the phone, and enjoy access to email, calendar, contacts, memopad, tasks and BBM on the larger screen of the slate.
