RIM and T-Mobile Europe have finally announced the release of BlackBerry Bold 9000 in Germany. After several delays, the new high-end smartphone is now available online, on T-Mo's official German website, and in the carrier's stores across the country.

T-Mobile Germany offers the Bold for several prices, starting from 39.95 Euros ($61) with a two-year contract and a "Relax 200" data plan. The highest price of the new handset is, of course, the free of contract one, which will drain no less than 459.95 Euros ($710) out of buyers' pockets.

Coming with a full QWERTY keyboard and RIM's famous trackball navigation, the Bold looks to be one of the best smartphones of the year. Its features include: quad-band GSM connectivity and triband HSDPA connectivity, a high-quality display with 480 x 320 pixels, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, BlackBerry Desktop Manager, full HTML browser, email, Audio and Video players, Bluetooth 2.0, a 2 Megapixel camera and so on.

"The BlackBerry Bold is the most advanced and performance-driven BlackBerry smartphone in our portfolio," declared Dr. Frank Wermeyer, Director Business Marketing, T-Mobile Germany. "We are also delighted to say that because of the long time partnership with RIM, the handset is very well optimized for T-Mobile Germany's network and services. With HSDPA and EDGE technology, users can experience a fast and comfortable way of accessing the Internet and intranets through our high-speed network."

Shortly after the German release, RIM and T-Mobile will also launch the new Bold in Austria. The smarpthone will be available to Austrian users next week, coming for prices starting at 249 Euros ($384), with a contract agreement for two years.

T-Mobile will most probably release the high-end BlackBerry in the other European countries where it offers its services, like the UK, Poland, the Netherlands or the Czech Republic. Anyway, mobile users there should better wait for an official confirmation regarding the Bold.

No word so far from RIM about the non-European countries to get the Bold (save for Chile, which has already launched it), but Canada and the US will surely be among them, although the release dates are yet to be announced.
