In addition to Android and Windows Phone devices, wireless carrier AT&T also made available for purchase on its airwaves new BlackBerry smartphones, namely the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9860.

Both new phones are powered by Research In Motion's BlackBerry 7.0 OS and both of them started to arrive on shelves around the world sometime in August with touch capabilities.

At AT&T, the BlackBerry Bold 9900, which is the first Bold smartphone to include a touchscreen display, features a price tag of $199.99 (145 Euros) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement. It can be seen on AT&T's website here.

As for the BlackBerry Torch 9860, the smartphone is available for purchase for $99.99 (73 Euros) when committing to a contract agreement. The handset is listed online at AT&T here.

The new Bold 9900 arrives on the market with a 2.8" high-resolution touchscreen display and with the usual full BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard.

The new device sports a fast 1.2GHz application processor inside, along with 8 GB of internal memory, and with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The handset sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording, along with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.

It also offers a wide range of appealing features powered by the new BlackBerry 7 OS platform, including Universal Search and great social networking and messaging capabilities.

The same as Bold 9900, the new Torch 9860 sports a 1.2GHz application processor inside, as well as improved connectivity and capabilities and a 5MP camera with HD video recording.

The new mobile phone features a large 3.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver an 800x480 pixel resolution, along with 4 GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD memory card slot by up to 32GB of additional storage space.

Both handsets offer support for AT&T's HSPA+ network, as well as fast Internet browsing via the new Webkit browser that RIM packed them with.
