Shortly after Research in Motion (RIM) announced the availability of two BlackBerry 7 software updates for WIND Bold 9900 and U.S. Cellular Curve 9350, new updates for two unannounced Videotron smartphones have been spotted on the company's support website.

The guys over at MobileSyrup found out that a new BlackBerry 7.0.0.353 software update for Videotron's BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Curve 9360 is available for download.

However, these smartphones have yet to make their debut at Videotron, as the carrier did not disclosed any details about the upcoming devices.

Videotron customers will probably be able to grab one of these BlackBerry 7 devices by the end of the year.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 is one of RIM's top-tier smartphones, whereas the Curve 9360 is a mid-range BlackBerry 7 handset.

Unlike the former, Curve 9360 is equipped with an 800 MHz processor and packs only 512 MB, along with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

BlackBerry fans who can afford the Bold 9900 will be provided with an improved BlackBerry 7 performance, as the smartphone is powered by a single core 1.2 GHz QC 8655 processor and embeds 8GB of internal memory, 768 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Moreover, the Bold 9900 has a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, while the 9360 comes with a standard 2.44-inch display.

What's really interesting is the fact that both smartphones are delivered with NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities, along with HSDPA support.

The rest of the hardware features are similar, including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, microUSB port, GPS with A-GPS support, and full portrait QWERTY keyboard.

It is also worth mentioning that Bold 9900 embeds a slightly better 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery, whereas the Curve 9360 comes with an 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery.
