14 DAY TRIAL // BlackBerry Bold 9790 is about to make its debut in Canada via TELUS and Rogers. However, it appears that another Canadian carrier, Virgin Mobile plans to launch the latest BlackBerry 7 OS smartphone, the Bold 9790.
The folks over at MobileSyrup has just spotted a picture of the phone with Virgin Mobile's logo attached to it, which means the device is close to release.
Unfortunately, there are no details on the phone's price options yet, but the Bold 9790 should be priced in the $450-$500 range outright, and $150 on the SuperTab.
BlackBerry Bold 9790 is one of the latest BlackBerry 7 OS smartphones launched by RIM and offers the same traditional QWERTY keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera with HD (720p) video recording capabilities.
The phone is equipped with an enhanced 1 GHz processor and packs 8 GB onboard memory, 768 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
