Orange UK confirmed several weeks ago that it would carry the BlackBerry Bold 9790, though the operator did not disclose any details regarding the phone’s exact release date.
Customers expecting the smartphone to hit shelves in the UK will be happy to know that Bold 9790 is now available for purchase on Orange pay monthly. The phone can be grabbed for free on select plans.
The latest smartphone in the Bold series is already available for purchase from other UK-based carriers such as
Vodafone, O2 and Three. BlackBerry Bold 9790 is cheaper version of the Bold 9900, but the phone doesn’t look cheap at all.
It comes with a decent 2.45-inch capacitive touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and packs 8GB onboard memory and 768MB of RAM.
