BlackBerry Bold 9700 is the next smartphone the Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion is set to launch on the market as soon as November is here. The new handset, also known as Bold 2 or Onyx, should become available for purchase via a wide range of carriers around the world, and now a few details on its pricing have emerged, along with a promo video.

The list of wireless operators that will add the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 to their offering includes Rogers, Bell, AT&T and T-Mobile in North America, which already went official with the handset's launch, as well as Vodafone UK in Europe, which already announced that users could order a Bold 2 in advance.

When it comes to the price tag the handset should sport on these carriers, we've learned that AT&T and T-Mobile are set to ask $199.99 for a BlackBerry Bold 9700 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. As for mobile phone users in Canada, they will have to pay $299.99 for the device in case they plan on purchasing it from Rogers with a three-year contract on a service plan that starts at $45 per month.

Bell and Telus haven't announced yet how much they plan on charging for the new Bold, though there are great chances the price won't differ too much from the one asked by Rogers. As for Vodafone UK, the carrier announced that “the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is available on pay monthly price plans from £35 with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service, unlimited Vodafone Mobile Internet and broadband.” No price unveiled, yet one should expect for the device to be offered for free.

There are no exact details on when the BlackBerry Bold 9700 will become available for purchase, yet some of the previous rumors pointed towards mid-November as the possible retail availability time frame for the handset. Stay tuned to learn when the new mobile phone will be put on sale. In the meantime, take a look at the promo video with Bold 2 available below.
