Canadian handset vendor Research in Motion announced recently that it had just launched its new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones on the market in the Philippines. According to the company, the new device is set to offer a great deal of capabilities to mobile phone users in the area, including high-end communications and multimedia features, as well as a compact and highly refined design.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone can easily prove to be a great option both for professionals and end-users, as it provides 3G HSDPA connectivity, a 624 MHz processor, 256 MB of internal memory, coupled with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, Wi-Fi capabilities, or built-in GPS receiver.

According to Research In Motion, the
BlackBerry Bold 9700 is set to become available for purchase in the Philippines before the end of this month, from wireless carriers Globe and Smart. The company hasn't unveiled any details on the pricing of the device yet, but said that each carrier would deliver the necessary details on this area, as well as on the exact availability of the phone.
