Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is set to make another BlackBerry device available in the near future for its customers, namely the recently announced BlackBerry Bold 9650. It doesn't come as a surprise that Verizon too will pick up the device, and it seems that it will release it on its airwaves soon after Sprint makes the same move.

According to some leaked documents that emerged on BGR, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will land at Verizon with support for the carrier's EV-DO Rev. A network, while also including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, as well as built-in GPS receiver, BlackBerry OS 5, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, and 512 MB of RAM.

The mobile phone has been officially announced at the end of April, and Sprint didn't wait too long before unveiling plans to have it available for its users come May 23. While there are no specific details on when Big Red launches the new BlackBerry device on its network, one should expect it to make the move pretty soon after the smartphone lands at Sprint.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 comes with the same popular design the Bold series from Research In Motion sports, measures 4.4 x 2.4 x 0.56 inches and weighs in at 4.8 oz. Originally expected to arrive as the second Tour, RIM changed its branding to Bold, and packed it with enough features to make it a great communications, multimedia and connectivity device.

The specs list of this phone includes a 2.44-inch display that delivers a 480 x 360 pixel resolution, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, 512 MB of Flash memory, a microSDHC memory card slot that supports up to 32GB of additional storage space, a 1400 mAh battery capable of delivering up to 5 hours of talk time on a CDMA network, HTML web browser, access to various social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace and Flickr) and other more.
