Priced at $199.99 on contract

BlackBerry Bold 2, also known around the web as the Bold 9700, seems set to make an appearance on T-Mobile's offering as soon as November 16 is here. There have been a lot of rumors regarding the release date for the handset, yet it seems that things have finally been settled down for that specific day. In case this pans out, T-Mobile's users will have the opportunity to try out the first 3G BlackBerry on their carrier's network in less than a week from now.

According to a recent article on TmoNews, the handheld was launched on T-Mobile on November 9 for the carrier's business customers, and end-users will also receive access to the BlackBerry Bold 2 one week from that date. However, some of the previous rumors also suggested that the carrier might push the device back a couple of days, and it remains to be seen which release date will actually pan out.

Here's what TmoNews shows on its website: BlackBerry Bold 9700 Launches November 16 This Holiday, T-Mobile is scheduled to launch the first 3G BlackBerry with Wi-Fi calling, the BlackBerry Bold 9700, on November 16. The Bold 9700 launched on November 9 in the Business channel only. The sleek and powerful BlackBerry Bold 9700 features a next-generation (624 MHz) processor, 256 MB Flash memory, Built-in GPS, Visual Voice Mail, a 3.2 megapixel camera, full-QWERTY keyboard with an innovative touch-sensitive optical trackpad.

Some info on the price tag the handset will feature also emerged, showing that T-Mobile will have the BlackBerry Bold 9700 available for its users for $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. At full retail pricing, the handset will cost $449.99, the same as the Samsung Behold 2. However, it seems that the Android-based mobile phone will be a little more expensive on contract, as it has been priced at $229.99 on a two-year agreement with the Even More plan.
