Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion announced not too long ago the official existence of BlackBerry Bold 9700, also known around the Internet as Bold 2. While the handset already became available for purchase in its home land, mobile phone users in the US still haven’t got the chance to taste its capabilities, though it seems that it won't be too long before they will be able to do so.

The new mobile phone is expected to soon make it into T-Mobile's offering. By soon we mean November 16, a launch date that seems to be almost confirmed at the moment. The wireless carrier already put up a web page for the device, and, although there are no details there regarding the launch date, Engadget says that Monday is the lucky day.

Moreover, it seems that the handset is already arriving in T-Mobile's stores around the country, which suggests that we're to soon see it available on the shelves. According to a recent article on BGR, each store will receive a number of around 25 BlackBerry Bold 2 units, which means that there will be enough for every enthusiast out there.

T-Mobile is expected to have the Bold 9700 available for purchase with a price tag of $200 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. The handset comes with a great deal of new features over the previous version, including 3G capabilities and the Wi-Fi connectivity, and it should prove to be a nice addition to the carrier's lineup.

Some of you might also know that AT&T is another mobile phone operator in the US that plans to launch the handset for its users. However, it seems that the sequel will arrive at AT&T only six days after T-Mobile launches it. With a nice 480 x 360-pixel display and a 3.2-megapixel camera, the BlackBerry Bold 2 might prove to be a great option for a lot of users out there.
