A new BlackBerry clamshell device is headed for the market, the 9670 flip phone, and some new pieces of info on it have been spotted around the Internet, including details on RIM having it named BlackBerry 9670 Style.

The new mobile phone is expected to become available for purchase with the BlackBerry 6 OS on board right from the start, while sporting the quite catchy BlackBerry Style name, as recent reports on the matter suggested.

Following leaked info on the handset's naming and on the availability of various cases and accessories for it, a series of three videos have just emerged into the wild, with this clamshell as the main character.

Interestingly enough, the three videos seem to be some sort of tutorials meant to prepare enthusiasts for the BlackBerry 9670 Style's landing, which means that it might not be too long before Research In Motions announces it officially.

The emergence of these videos might be in line with the official unveiling of various features in the BlackBerry 6 OS that RIM brought into the wild last month.

Until more info on this emerges, we should take a look at the hardware specifications the device is reportedly headed to the market with.

Among them, we can count a full-QWERTY keyboard, complemented by an internal display that boasts a 360 x 400 pixels resolution, and an external one of a 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

Moreover, the new mobile phone is expected to become available with support for CDMA and Wi-Fi radios, as well as with a GPS receiver inside, and with a 5-megapixel camera included into the mix.

Those who will look at the demo videos below (available via crackberry) should learn how the device can handle features like zooming, or how its homescreen or the external display look like.

All in all, the new device seems to be shaping up as a pretty appealing BlackBerry smartphone, though it still remains to be seen when it would be brought to shelves, as well as in what markets.
