Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry will soon be able to provide the owners of handsets powered by its new BlackBerry 10 operating system with access to a new, highly appealing application on their phones, namely Amazon Kindle.

The company has already announced that the application is en route to the platform, yet it did not specify a release date for it as of now.

However, a recent post on BriefMobile suggests that the software will be launched before March is over, and that BlackBerry’s weekly “New App Wednesday” email was the one to share the info with the public.

Apparently, the application will become available for download through the official BlackBerry World, unlike previous flavors that were put up for grabs only through Amazon’s portal.

What was not detailed as of now is whether the app has been built natively or was brought to BlackBerry 10 from Android.
