Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has been pretty happy with how sales of its new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone went since making it official in late January, and it seems that it might enjoy even better sales for the remainder of the year.

According to Goldman Sachs analyst Simona Jankowski, the company will be able to sell between 2 and 3 million BlackBerry 10 devices per quarter in 2013, which might include both Z10 and Q10 models.

A recent blog post on Barron’s notes that, while sales of BB10 devices might have been of around half a million in the last quarter, they will improve significantly moving forth.

Retail checks performed by Jankowski in the UK, Canada, UAE, and India show that the Z10 has enjoyed a successful launch, suggesting that sales will see a boost when the device arrives in more markets, including the US.
