RIM will also launch BlackBerry phones with physical keyboards

Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has been long rumored to bring to the market full-touch BlackBerry 10 handsets in the beginning, but QWERTY-enabled phones won’t be delayed too much either, it seems.

What reportedly represents a photo of the keyboard for such a device has emerged online courtesy of iiBerry (via CrackBerry).

The image is blurry enough to prevent us from extracting too much information about the upcoming devices, but it does confirm that physical keyboards are not dead in RIM’s vision.

No specific info has emerged until now on what these handsets from RIM will have to offer, though chances are that they will pack hardware specs similar to those included inside the L-Series smartphones.

The BlackBerry 10 platform and the first two smartphones powered by it will be launched on January 30, and more on the matter will become official at that time.
