Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has already confirmed plans to make its first BlackBerry 10 smartphones official at the end of January next year, yet it hasn’t provided too many details on what these devices will be all about.

Courtesy of various leaks, however, we had the chance to learn a few more details on the first BlackBerry 10 devices, and some more of them are now available.

A BlackBerry 10 L-Series smartphone was photographed next to an Apple iPhone 5, which is the tallest model in Apple’s series.

Apparently, the upcoming device from RIM is a bit larger than Apple’s latest handset, most probably due to the fact that it relies heavily on bezel gestures, while the iPhone does not.

Overall, the BlackBerry 10 smartphone looks pretty appealing, and might attract a lot of users on its side, especially enthusiasts.
