BlackBerry has confirmed that it will bring the latest OS 10.2 update to Z10, Q10 and Q5 beginning mid-October and it looks like the Canadian company has just started the rollout of the upgrade.

CrackBerry reports that numerous BlackBerry users in Singapore claim that they have just received the long-awaited BlackBerry 10.2 update on their devices.

For the time being, the Z10 and Q10 purchased via major carrier SingTel are eligible for the upgrade. Those who have downloaded and installed the 117MB file have noticed that their software has been updated to version 10.2.0.1767.

Unfortunately, the update wasn’t spotted in other regions as well, so it remains to be seen what countries will get it next.

This is likely to depend on carriers mostly, so if your network operator has a solid partnership with BlackBerry, you might be getting the OS 10.2 upgrade faster than the rest.
