BlackBerry 10 users rejoice, as the Canadian company has just confirmed that the next major upgrade for their favorite operating system will be rolled out globally beginning mid-October.

As expected, BlackBerry has launched its first phablet, the Z30, today at a press event in Malaysia. The press release announcing the official launch of the Z30 contains some info regarding the BlackBerry 10.2 update.

BlackBerry states that version 10.2 of the OS is expected to be available for the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Q5 starting mid-October, though no exact release dates have been unveiled yet.
