This combo of 2 mini Black and White Burgers was debuted by McDonald's China last month, and will be available for a limited period of time.

The genius of this product lies in selling a beef burger (the black one) and a chicken burger (the white one) in the same set. This way, you don't have to decide.

The set is available in Beijing for about $2.50, or $4.40 if you want fries and soda with it. The black burger is topped with black pepper sauce and sesame seeds are sprinkled on top of it. In order to complement it, the white one seems to have poppy seeds on top.

Some are speculating that McDonald's was going for a political statement with this meal, suggesting the struggle of the Chinese government (represented by the white burger) against organized crime, the “black society,” as the Chinese call it. The person eating the set would then be a shady character, as they would have connections to both camps.
