The best PCs are made on E-ATX or XL-ATX motherboards, but for most people, a full ATX or even smaller platform is enough, which is why mid-tower cases are the ones sold most often on the DIY desktop market.
Deepcool has just released such a chassis, called Pangu SW-RD and featuring room for graphics cards as long as 310 mm / 12.20 inches, as well as CPU coolers of 165 mm / 6.49 inches in height.
That means most AMD and NVIDIA video cards, as well as Intel CPUs and AMD CPUs/APUs, respectively.
In addition to that, the case also boasts six 3.5-inch drive bays (HDDs/SSDs) which can be used with 2.5-inch units, plus three 5.25-inch drive bays (for ODDs, fan controllers, water cooling reservoirs, etc.). One of the latter is concealed.
Then there's the I/O panel on the front (2 x USB 3.0 and 2 x USB 2.0, plus HD jacks).
What stands out most, though, is the multi-color LED lighting system that uses a pair of RGB strips and a 4-pin Molex-powered adapter + control pod, which lets you pick the color.
All in all, the DeepCool Pangu SW-RD measures 498 x 205 x 477 mm / 19.6 x 8.07 x 18.77 inches, while weighing 7.5 kilos / 16.53 pounds.
Alas, the price of the newcomer (which includes a number of 120 mm fans, by the way) is not known. Neither is the arrival date.
