20-year-old Sharmeka Moffitt was taken to the hospital on Sunday night with burns covering more than half of her body. The woman from Louisiana had the letters KKK written on the hood of her car.

According to the Telegraph, the FBI is investigating the incident as a hate crime. The woman has suffered 3rd degree burns and is currently in critical condition.

She was able to tell police that she was dubbed in a flammable liquid and set on fire in Civitan park, in Winnsboro. The attackers wore white hoodies, but she couldn't distinguish their races. Race slurs were also found written in paste on the woman's car.
