Normally, when you use the word “black” in a product name, especially in peripherals or graphics cards, it means that the product is colored black, either in its majority or in entirety. This does not hold true for the new mouse from Tt eSPORTS though.

In fact, the opposite applies: the Black Snow Edition laser mouse is white. Admittedly, it has some blue highlights, and a blue-colored inner LED, but that's as incongruous with the “black” in the name as the rest of the device.

That said, the word “black” does get used in the names of high-end products often, and in this case the Black Snow Edition doesn't disappoint.

The mouse has 128 kB of on-board storage, for storing 3 to 5 button profiles, and a total of 30 programmable macros.

You'll have to download the associated software from the company website though.

Another thing the Black Snow Edition mouse possesses is a customizable weight system.

Third, the newcomer boasts OMRON switches (the PR says OMON, but it's probably a typo), with 5 million press lifecycle. Finally, an Avago 5700 DPI laser sensor runs everything.

The Black Snow Edition mouse from Tt eSPORTS, with its blue LED illumination on the mouse wheel, DPI indicator, and Dragon logo, has a price of $50 / €50. Sales should start next month (April 2014).
