14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Activision and hardware maker Nintendo are still in negotiations about the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which has been already confirmed for the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
A statement from Activision reads that the company is at the moment, “working with Nintendo on the possibility of releasing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Map Packs and the DLC Season Pass for this new gaming platform.”
It’s not clear why the Season Pass poses a problem for Nintendo, but it might have something to do with the degree of control that the company wants to have over its Nintendo Network service.
The Season Pass allows gamers to get access to all pieces of downloadable content that will be launched for the first-person shooter at a reduced price.
Black Ops 2 will be launched on all platforms on November 13.
