14 DAY TRIAL // After a lengthy period of radio silence, the team behind the Black Mesa project has made a brand new announcement concerning the long-awaited game, saying that a new video is going to be released once enough people “like” its Facebook page.
The original Half-Life is still a great game but, after the appearance of Half-Life 2 and its subsequent episodes, its age is quite apparent.
As such, since 2004, a team of modders has started recreating Half-Life 1 with the Source engine from the second iteration.
Since then, many release dates have come and gone, while a few videos have appeared, but nothing really specific has been revealed.
Now, the team behind the Black Mesa project has made a new announcement, saying that a new piece of media will be revealed once 20,000 people “like” the game’s Facebook page.
