More elegant than ever

One of the easiest changes that handset producers can make on their mobile phones is their color. Just a brush of paint and it looks like a completely different handset. MOTORIZR Z8 and ROKR W5 have just switched to a sexy black color and look great in it.

MOTORIZR Z8 initially came in a black version with green stripes contouring it. This new image shows it in an all black design, one that makes it look more elegant than ever. The device runs on Symbian software and is 3.5G enabled, which makes it capable of reaching the highest data transfer speeds and speedy internet services.

This is a highly evolved multimedia phone, that also packs a 2 megapixel camera with red-eye reduction, for taking average quality image captures. MOTORIZR Z8 also has an integrated music player that also includes the shuffle capability. The phone has 90 MB of internal user memory that can be completed through a microSD card slot up to 4GB.

ROKR W5 is a clamshell that has not been released yet. This music phone reminds of the Sony Ericsson Walkman phone series, with its combination of orange and black. It is more of a mid-ranged handset that manages to pack only 20MB of internal memory, aside from a microSD card slot. Connectivity is available through Bluetooth A2DP, miniUSB and GPRS/EDGE too.

The phone's internal screen is a 1.9 inch one capable of a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. There is also an external display, with a resolution of 96 x 85 pixels. Other than these features, there is little information that could arouse anyone's interest.

Both MOTORIZR Z8 and ROKR W5 look stylish in their black cases. These are only leaked images wondering the Internet at this time, with no specifications on their release markets or availability.
