Just for one day

As it was to be expected, this year's Black Friday has allowed consumers all over the United States to purchase a number of products at a lower price tag. This goes for all consumer products, which have had their prices reduced for this one day of the year, thus becoming more accessible to an increased number of users. One such deal comes from Dell, which has decided to significantly reduce the price point of its small-sized, low-power portable computer system dubbed the Inspiron Mini 9.

The offer was advertised in most newspapers, where the small PC was featured at a price of just $299, a good $50 cut from the regular $349 price tag on the company's first netbook product. The listed configuration offers users an 8.9-inch netbook system that is powered by Intel's highly successful Atom N270 processor, running at 1.6GHz. The system itself comes with a rather obvious choice of a pre-installed Ubuntu 8.04 operating system, which also takes something out of the price tag of the netbook. Additional specifications include a 512MB memory and a built-in 4GB solid state drive to provide the necessary storage solution.

Also, for just $299, Dell will also provide its customers with a Dell wireless mini card (802.11g) and even a free shipping deal, which should more than make up for the money you will spend on the PC.

The Round Rock, Texas-based PC vendor has also advertised a considerable discount for its fully-fledged Inspiron 1525, which can be purchased for $559, which should save you about $285, according to the company. This portable system boasts an Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 processor, 3GB of memory, 250GB of storage space, built-in 2.0MP webcam and a Windows Vista Home Basic operating system. As with the Inspiron Mini, this Inspiron 1525 can also be delivered to you free of charge.
