That's more than half sheared off the normal price

Normally, the LG G Watch has a price of $229 / €229, which puts it on more or less even ground with many of the other smartwatches out there.

Now, though, it's Black Friday, the day following Thanksgiving in the United States of America. The day when pretty much every shop in the US runs a major sale, with pretty much everything sold for a lot less than usual.

Black Friday has actually been spreading outside the US as well, all the way to Central Europe and farther. That means that many people are hunting for deals.

Verizon is offering such a deal for the LG G Watch smartwatch. Normally, the device sells for $229 / €229, as we said, but today (November 28, 2014) it has a price of $100 / €100. That's a price cut of 57%.

I'm not sure how much the price cut offer will last, so if you have a smartphone with Android 4.3 or better, then you should at least consider it, if you're in the market for such things anyway. Google Play should also have it for that little.

Other smartwatches are selling for less than usual as well, so keep an eye out for them too.
