It's probably meant to house PCs with NVIDIA's new graphics

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but BitFenix releasing a new micro-ATX gaming case now probably had more planning behind it than usual. After all, it's just a day before the release of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 970 and 980 video cards, and probably AMD's Radeon R9 285.

The new video board may have a red LED color theme instead of NVIDIA green, but it's not like you can't replace the fan with a differently colored one.

Either way, the new case has all it takes to make a fine gaming system, despite the size: two 3.5-inch drive bays, three 2.5-inch bays, even a 2.4-inch LCD module (240 x 320 pixels).

There's also the odd side-panel design, which curls somewhat over the front of the enclosure.

Speaking of which, the case is quite thin, with a profile of only 160 mm / 6.29 inches, just a bit wider than a standard ATX PSU.

The 2.4-inch LCD screen we mentioned before is hidden behind the front panel and can be customized thanks to a drag-and-drop interface. Mostly, it's meant to display an image, to personalize your computer.

You'll need to use a USB cable to connect to the motherboard and download software from BitFenix’ website. Once you do that, though, you just need to drag a picture onto the software window and voila! The image will be henceforth displayed there.

As for video card support, anything up to 340 mm / 13.40 inches in length is a go. So pretty much every consumer graphics card is supported, in other words.

Alas, BitFenix did not deign to share the availability and price with the rest of us.
