14 DAY TRIAL // Bitdefender released today the first beta for a standalone parental control solution. The application attempts to bring you in the loop on all aspects of your kid’s digital activities, from social networking to mobile activity on Android phones.
This is achieved by connecting all monitoring tools to a central web console (accessible by logging into your Bitdefender account at https://my.bitdefender.com), which offers comprehensive activity reports from all devices.
Bitdefender Parental Control allows parents to monitor and log activity of Facebook accounts, and this includes comments, messages, wall posts, tags (location/places, photos, videos, events attending, status or comments), privacy settings or number of friends.
On Android devices the monitoring is extended to location, calls, messages, services and settings. Remote geo-location is achieved through the phone’s built-in GPS system, wireless networks in range or based on information from the mobile network.
