14 DAY TRIAL // BitDefender just launched an offer for two of their most appreciated products, few may resist. It is lifetime license for Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012, at very low prices, $79.95 (€52) and $59.95 (€39) respectively.
However, it is not your lifetime they’re talking about, but your computer’s, which seems to be calculated by the developer at five years. Even so, you get a pretty good antivirus solution (Internet Security 2012 reviewed here) for quite some time, as long as you do not make major modifications to your PC’s configuration (CPU or motherboard); so the newer the computer, the longer you can take advantage of the products.
On the other hand, things may change quite drastically in 5-years’ time and the security solution may not be fit for the threats of tomorrow.
