Bitdefender Parental Control, the Android application that allows parents to monitor their child’s mobile phone, has just been updated with a few tweaks.

Developers have added an “Uninstall” option right from the Parental Control menu for easier access. In addition, the folks at Bitdefender have confirmed that the update brings a new “Settings” option as well.

With the latter, users will be able to choose to send the child's activity to the Online Interface via the Wi-Fi or mobile data. According to developers, this will lead to battery saving, though it has yet to be confirmed by users.

The new Bitdefender Parental Control 1.0.147 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
