The popular BitTorrent application for Android devices has just received a small, but important update. The most notable improvement is the fact that developers added support for more devices, as well as some under the hood changes.

Developers confirmed that the latest version of BitTorrent for Android should work very well with Intel Atom-based devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet.

Furthermore, the application should launch faster as soon as the update is applied or the latest version is installed. Last but not least, some fixes for backspace issues with search have been included in the update as well.

Those interested can now download BitTorrent for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices running Android 2.1 and up.
