BitTorrent Inc. today released a minor patch to address some issues in the newly updated BitTorrent Sync 1.3 for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux customers. If you’re experiencing crashes, this update is for you.

Incremented to version 1.3.77, the new BitTorrent Sync fixes crashes on all platforms, fixes issues with clients discovery in LAN, and addresses a problem with redundant .conflict files and folders creation.

For those who haven’t updated their BitTorrent Sync client in a while, this version also brings support for TCP connectivity between peers, tracker and relay (when UDP is not available), reduced parasite traffic between peers, tracker and during LAN search, improved behavior with case-insensitive file systems, extended attributes for OS X users and extended file streams for Windows, redesigned sync notifications, and a whole lot more.

Even the mobile clients have been updated with enhanced privacy (with passcode lock) for all locales, the ability to share your sync folders via email, QR code or other apps, the option to tap-and-hold a downloaded file to see ‘Open in…’, a new way to clear saved files from the app memory, and other cool stuff.
