In addition to supporting cyberlocker links, Installous 5 can now handle peer-to-peer downloading.

The image above, used by TorrentFreak for illustration purposes only, shows how the updated Installous offers a BitTorrent download option, in addition to filehost links.

As Hackulous admin Dissident explains, “Installous uses magnet links, a decentralized way of obtaining torrent metadata. As a result, we don’t host any .torrent files. We also use peer exchange (PEX), otherwise known as trackerless torrents.”

He admits that demagnetization may be slow in some cases, such as when you’re downloading an obscure app, but he promises to speed up the process in the future.

Installous will not seed from the device once your download has finished, or when you’re on a cellular connection. Seeding will only occur if you’re on WiFi and only while your download is ongoing.

Needless to point out, we're sharing this piece of news for informational purposes only.

Downloading cracked apps is not only a frowned-upon practice, but an illegal one.
