Collection of Konami mini-games comes to Europe

The mini-game collection originally released for the PSOne back in 2000 entertained a lot of people who were up for some fast, crazy fun together with their friends. Having this in mind and knowing that the request for the game is still high, Konami has decided to release the game in Europe, making it their first title available via Sony's PlayStation Network download store. And with a price of ?3.49 (about 5 Euro), you know you'll get a bargain.

Bishi Bashi Special is the definite party game, being highly enjoyed when played against friends - it comes with 80 fun mini-games, each crazier than the previous one. All the mini-games you can find in this classic title were originally released on Japanese arcade machines, Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi Bashi and they represent a compilation designed to test the player's reactions, timing and stamina.

Of course, as the name subtly suggests, most of the mini-games involve simply bashing the controller buttons as quickly as possible. However, other games in the compilation require pixel-perfect movement and a good hand-eye coordination (but the pixel-perfect ones are a definite No-no for parties, if you were to ask me!). Anyway, all of the 80 games are plain fun and entertaining!

"We are delighted that Bishi Bashi Special has become our first title on the PlayStation Store," commented Hans-Joachim Amann, Head of European Product Management for Konami Digital Entertainment. "It is a game that enjoys a great following and there's a constant demand for it on forums and on Internet auction sites, where PSOne copies of Bishi Bashi Special regularly sell for incredible prices. Now we want to give all PSP and PlayStation 3 owners the chance to enjoy this fantastic crazy party game at a fantastic and crazy price."

Everything you have to do now is to pay a visit to the PlayStation Network and get ready to test Juggler Panic, Burger Girl, Ladder of Love, Hyper Pie Thrower and Uncle Bean (some of the mini-game names) together with other people.
