Though the Sandy Bridge processors from Intel haven't exactly made their debut yet, motherboards compatible with them have been previewed already, with Biostar's duo now having been pictured.

The Sandy Bridge line of CPUs will be Intel's next-generation line of central processing units with integrated graphics.

They are set to keep the Core naming scheme, more or less, and are designed for a new socket, a socket that only the new chipset collection will support.

Back at Computex, Biostar offered a preview of two motherboards built around the next-generation chipsets, though they were early prototypes.

Now, the same two motherboards have been, according to OCWorkbench, photographed in their final forms.

The two go by the names of Tseries TP67XE (P67) and TH67XE and, of course, feature the LGA 1155 socket.

There are four DDR3 memory slots on each of them, as well as three SATA 3.0 Gbps connectors and a pair of SATA 6.0 Gbps ports as well.

Not only that, but they also come with eSATA and USB 3.0 connectivity, plus 7.1 channel audio and Gigabit Ethernet.

What's more, the two siblings are designed with two PCI Express 2.0 slots, which means that dual-GPU SLI and Crossfire configurations are supported.

The main things that differentiate between the two are the phase power designs, 10+1 on the TP67XE and 6+1 on the TH67XE, and the display outputs.

Simply put, the former has none, while the latter features D-sub, DVI, HDMI and a DisplayPort.

The boards should start start shipping by the end of the year, meaning that consumers will likely be pleased to know they will arrive in time for the holiday season.

Unfortunately, though not unexpectedly, the Biostar TP67XE and TH67XE have not yet been given prices, which means that consumers still have to wait for either another leak of the company's official announcement.
